Geoffrey
Wilson MA FIA has over
30 years actuarial experience,
gained first in the Government
Actuary’s Department,
then as Director of Benefits
and Total Remuneration
at HAY-MSL Management
Consultants, and then
as a Partner and Actuary
at accountants Binder
Hamlyn. Geoffrey has written
extensively in technical
journals and in the national
press on pensions issues,
including in recent months
reports on pensions and
divorce, on pensions and
privatisation, and on
making income withdrawal
plans work. He has acted
as expert adviser to Courts
and to Government agencies
on pension issues.
Michael
Tong BSc FIA FPMI has
over 30 years actuarial
and investment experience
gained within leading
advisory firms. He has
headed actuarial departments
at Sedgwicks and Stewart
Wrightson. More recently,
before setting up Excalibur
Actuaries with Geoffrey
Wilson in 1996, Mike has
been Senior Manager and
Actuary at accountants
Binder Hamlyn, and has
been a member of the Society
of Pension Consultants’
Actuarial Committee.
Both
Geoffrey and Mike are
local Councillors.
